The Tempest's Reunion Concert on Friday January 15, 1999 at The Gulfport Casino was a HUGE SUCCESS. About 1000 people turned out and the energy was high! The late Scott Robbins, DJ at Oldies 97.1 was the MC at the concert and that even made it better. Scott was the number 1 DJ in the Tampa Bay area. Everyone had a great time. The band played a lot of great tunes from the Sixties. The Casino was a great choice! The atmosphere felt like an old sixties Concert.

Since the concert was such a success and The Tempests are having so much fun with these concerts that they have decided to have a concert on every First Friday of the month starting with May. First Friday is a BIG event in Gulfport. They have all kinds of festivities going on, great food to eat and more! First Friday ends around 8:00pm. The Tempests concerts will start at 8:00 pm which will complete an already perfect evening of fun. So May 7th, July 2nd, September 3rd and November 5th, 1999 you will be able to see the Tempests perform with another guest band to be announced. Lets make these concerts and Gulfport's First Friday a success by coming out and participating in the celebration!
